People for Mike Morrice

So what do Kitchener Liberals do now?

If you’re a loyal Liberal voter in Kitchener Centre, you might be asking, Who do I vote for now?
As a former public servant, I feel the dilemma of voters in Kitchener Centre. The mid-campaign resignation of their candidate, amid harassment allegations, leaves Liberals without a candidate in their riding.
I’m asked my opinion — often by Liberals — on the remaining ballot choice. A split vote may contribute to a decade of unintended consequences for local healthcare, housing affordability, lack of climate action, and other uncertainties.
But, the history of Kitchener provides a lesson for our future.

The city has navigated through generations of change — constantly reinventing itself, diversifying its industries, and strengthening its public assets. It’s a barn-raising community that foresees a common future, takes calculated risks, and builds itself up from the inside out.
For this reason, at this unique time in the riding of Kitchener Centre, I am telling my friends and colleagues that I’m supporting Mike Morrice.

He offers a fresh start and local perspective — not politics as usual by the bigger mainstream parties. I believe Mike will listen and act on any agenda in the best interests of our community, the country, and the planet.
At a time when many Canadians feel we’re in a needless election, this unique opportunity for Kitchener Centre voters to look ahead and transform, yet again, couldn’t come soon enough.
