It’s Our Future: Why We Are Supporting Mike

Today, we as youth and young adults are in the midst of dealing with multiple crises. The number of well-paid jobs is declining, and precarious work has become the norm. We have been promised that a post-secondary education would be the key to getting a good job and having a successful life, yet that is no longer certain. Student debt has made it harder to invest in our future; the dream of buying a house in Waterloo Region is out of reach for many of us. In addition to these economic crises, we are grappling with the climate crisis.

Nous sommes des jeunes âgés de 15 à 30 ans qui sont passionnés par la création d’un avenir plus durable et équitable à Kitchener-Centre et dans tout le Canada. Pour cette raison, nous avons tous été bénévoles pour la campagne de Mike en 2019 ou le sommes actuellement. Nous sommes fiers d’amplifier la voix des jeunes dans tous les domaines de la campagne, et de promouvoir une communauté de bénévoles plus intergénérationnelle.
